Koston does it again

Modettes only

The brand new range is called Miss Mod and is really good looking. Amongst others you´ll find some boardies that look both nice and stays functional. What else can we say? That as always the ads and graphics are better than the actual clothes? But then again - what did you expect from Volcom?
Etnies - girls only

Fila drives you crazy - proof!!

Lakoston

But that not really any cool news is it? Since he joined Lakai some months ago he´s more or less totally devoted to the Girl family. Now he´s got his own high street fashion with Fourstars Lakoston. Check this out - Kostons signature key chain. _That´s quality for you and that´s attitude. When we see this - we see something that´s fresh. And that is something we get enough of!

Burton x Paul Smith Collabo gone bad?

What´s the deal anyway? If you wanna go shredding you don´t need Paul Smith and if you gonna go not-shredding you don´t need Burton (I know you don´t believe me but that´s really the truth). Still the jacket has some nice details. But far more interesting are the iDiom collection for next year. If you´re in Sthlm you should pop over to Item, ask really nice and check out their iDiom lookbook.

Fu Manchu "We Must Obey" (2007)

Fu Manchu is back. After their last and by far worse record "Start the Machine" Fu Manchu has returned to their patened stoned (rather than stoner) rock. This time the sound drips with more Thin Lizzy references than the usual ted Nugent-riffs. For better or worse.
Personally I still hold their California Crossing as maybe not their most fun or inventional album but the best. When Fu Manchu let the focus drop they often tend to be sound too stoned, too smart or just too much. The whole point with Fu Manchu is to be dumb music played too loud. And that´s why their surfer dudes-image works so well.
The first single of the album and probably the best track, “Hung out dry” is as classic Fu Manshu as ever. Slow and rhythmic. Otherwise “We Must Obey” is harder, less poppy and far from the catchy sounds of “Urethane” and “California Crossing”.
All in all it´s a must buy for any fans. Everyone else should start with “Californa Crossing” and work their way backwards in the extensive Fu manchu backcatalogue.

Why women snowboarding jackets are better looking
1. Not too baggy, still not to dressed or too much "fashion".
2. Girls who snowboard are cooler than girls who don´t.
3. Because brigt colours and patterna make you happy.
4. And bright colours and patterns might help you once you´re stuck way off pist or in the middle of (or under) an avalanche.
5. Usually a bit cheaper...
