Plaid is doing good. You just change the colours a bit and it seems to work forever. Good examples of the use are last seasons excellent Gravis Royale shoes (for a pic - look here).Now even snow/sk8/surf-sponsor and watch company Nixon have some models in plaid. They look good and they show you the time.
